Can't help there but on a related note, how does filter fare when stored in a thermos? Assuming the air inside is kept to a minimum.

That's where we found in the end, London Coffee Guide map showed it. Nicely done Hasbean espresso not a pourover though. Sarnies nice. Ta.

Used to decant aeropress into a flask for dr bike days in the cold. It picked up some metallic notes but was ok. Wouldn't use plastic thermos.
Also in your point about minimal air, my flask was about 400ml capacity, are there any good 200ml ones about?

GSI Doppio line has some in that size, don't know how sealed they are though.

I bring one to work every day. It's fine for what it is, but of course not as good as freshly brewed. For a while I mixed in milk in the morning but that makes it a lot worse

A bit more than mcr prices, but not too bad. £20 for drinks & grub for 2 adults + 1 child.

I have one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sigg-8581-8-Bottle-Cold-Brushed/dp/B017IJF3AM/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1509231761&sr=8-9&keywords=hot%2Bcold+flask
it's pretty good. not sure i'd trust the seal to be rolling around in a bag but if you're keeping it upright it's great.
keeps temperature so well I have to let it cool down before drinking even if it's been hours since I filled it.
found it after seeing it's the one that square mile have rebadged for their own version (at £32!)

Kleen Kanteen. The best. Don't leak, come in a bunch of sizes. Not super cheap but last for ever!

As small as 200ml?

The footprint of the Silvia/Vario combo is a big plus

I have the tinyest annoyance with the clean canteens. The lid on mine fits on the outside of the bottle, so if you open and close it a small amount of liquid ends up down the side of the bottle.

^ & ^^ ta both.
Fwiw imo for a 200ml brew standard it'd make sense for there to be a matching flask size. Kickstarter time?
Just tried this, really good!
