The previous wolfenstien (sp?) was fantastic. One of the best single player experiences I've had in recent years.

When I first moved to London I bought Getaway: Black Monday in order to familiarise myself with the roads...

That game, and the original Getaway, were proper cool. But I never did understand why the Yardies were in Shoreditch.

Ugh. PUBG. 2 quick rounds for a mid morning break. 1st round I got blown up in the red zone which has never happened before despite runningly through them regularly in a very blasé fashion before. 2nd round spent the entire round running to avoid the blue zone. Picked up a Kar which I'd never used before and didn't realise it was bolt action. Picked up a silencer for it too. And silencer for a pistol I found but found NO other weapons all round despite searching. Managed to swim across the channel for the last zone and made it to the last 3 before realising I had eyes on both of the other players and they were easy kills, assuming I had weapons. I was prone about 10 feet behind one of them who was facing the other way, also prone. I used the silenced Kar but as he was in grass didn't get a headshot. Hit his body and saw blood fly but he turned around and gatted me with an M416 while I watched in horror at the bolt being drawn back instead of getting a satisfying silent double-tap and on to the win like I'd hoped with a semi-auto.

That Kar reminds me of the Mosin, deadly over range... I was in the final few (before it becomes the prone in grass last one to move standoff) and heard one a way off but had to move from cover to get inside the zone... booooooom I'm dead.
Had a great game yesterday, played aggressive, got some beautiful kills, only just made top 15 or so I think but I'm still playing for kills not wins.
Mini 14 is a beast.

Raced to DOUBLE air-drop and was excited to be the only one around for miles but tried to do things quickly. Jumped off bike to get straight into the loot and insta-died.
Moving at speed and jumping off of vehicles is a no-no apparently.

Started new Mario in handheld mode only (out of home atm) and played about 2.5hours so far.
It’s just jaw dropping...
Everyone knew it’s gonna br amazing as almost any other classic Mario game, but this is something completely different.
100% worth buying a console for this (and Zelda obviously).

Managed a couple of hours of mario so far. Incredible

Considering it was out around the same time as GTA Vice City, I think they did a relatively good job of recreating it.
Given the complexity of London, it'd be pretty tricky to model it exactly.
Unfortunately it's probably the closest we're going to get to a virtual London over the next decade or two.

Fuck, I need this in my life... 😭
Playing in London was the only reason I wanted it - and maybe now I'll get it if I can find it cheap.
Any other games that do London well? Having moved recently I could use the virtual fix.
