Can we just call it the League Cup. Otherwise it becomes confusing for us older types.

I was genuinely curious if I could rock up at Wembley for some shit team vs Spurs for fuck all and compare the experience to Arsenal v Palace when I was about 12 in the 80s for £5 and found it would cost £65 to watch Spurs vs Palace from the moon

That's a bit wrong because they are £40 +Booking Fee right now up there for spurs fans. I thought they should be the same price as home fans for equivalent seats due to fsf regulations.

As they can't fill the stadium surely it would make sense to have a flat rate of say £20/25 for adults - pay on arrival too then juniors and OAP's say £10/12
None of this tiering shite for different games/teams
Oh yeah just remembered - Daniel Levy owns Spurs

Haven't seen the game and as you say cruising against a team in turmoil and the losing isn't good for morale. But it can also be used as a learning experience, and I'm sure the sheriff will use it as such. He's very big on mental as well as physical strength.
I know until we win something media/other fans will doubt us, but I think it's time the idea of what Spurs is and can be needs to change.
Fans will use this defeat West Ham as another stick to try to beat back our optimism about the future, but if you believe the pundits, we need to win a trophy to keep players from "larger clubs" or if we don't win trophies we'll lose our players to "larger clubs", no one seems able to get their head around the fact that spurs might be becoming one of these mythical "larger clubs".
As I've said before it feels like we're ahead of schedule in the "project" and I feel we'll win something this year, but if we don't, still challenge for the league, qualify for the champions league and the new stadium is ready for next season I think it will still have been a successful season, we're punching above our weight in the financial league and to continue to do so is success in and of itself.. -

Away fans will be thirty quid, that's the max price anyway. In fact I'm only paying twenty quid at Southampton next week as Virgin subsidise it.

Yep Daniel levy runs Spurs and financially we're doing well, new stadium coming along, in the champions league for the second season running and looking like we'll get out of the group, majority of the squad on long term contracts, a manager committed to the club for the foreseeable and playing a season in a stadium with a capacity twice what we're used to and we're still getting loads of support in it.
Looking good and I'd take levy over kenwright, pretty much any season since they've been stewarding their clubs.
Come back when Everton are out of the relegation zone and the £150m odd of players you spunked money on actually start playing like they were worth the expenditure, oh and you've actually started building that new stadium you've been trying to for the last 30yrs.. -

Not sure how spurs are lining up today. 4-3-3- or 4-2-3-1 I suspect the former with sissoko and eriksen up top with son.
Think pooch is trying to fool maureen because sanchez is not injured hes on the bench.

Ha ha ha. You called him Maureen. That's a lady's name.
Have you got any others? Do you call Guardiola 'Fraudiola'? And, let me guess, you call Benitez 'fat Spanish waiter'.

Really enjoying this tactical battle. Still feeling confident but what ever happens it's not going to turn me into a mardy arse on a saturday afternoon.

If the only good players to come out of the seven is Eriksen and lamela, I still think we came out ahead... Eriksen especially.. also if soldado becomes a success there's no space for Kane to step up..
