too lazy to search for the right place for this, but I wanted to record it... Thursday morning at the eastern junction of Stamford St and Blackfriars Rd - cyclist in the process of being flattened while cutting inside a YUGE artic turning left. I don’t think she was hurt, because a suit on the pedestrian crossing opposite was able to signal the driver to stop in time. That this stuff happens from a standing start at traffic lights amazes me.

Bizarre conversation this morning, when I say conversation mainly being talked at. Just unlocking my bike when these two old fellas informed me that my bike was illegal as it was one of these bike that doesn't have gears. Asked why it was illegal to have a bike with no gears one said he had read it in the paper after that guy had killed that women. Rolled eyes and left

on my way back from Kingsbury today I saw three kids standing outside a bike cage on Royal College Way. Two were outside with bikes, and another was laying on the floor.

There was a third kid in the cage climbing out. Dodgy? You can just see his hands in the screengrab from my camera

Hey Ed, I’ve noticed you use “whether” where you mean “whereas”. (Trying to help, not be mean)

I've heard a lot of stories of kids climbing into cages and over gates (in many of those developments where the bike parking is visible from the street), and quite a few thefts have occurred from places like that. Unfortunately, the positioning of the parking is often poor and not really designed well into a building.

What's the forum certified route from Blackfriars bridge to Pancras Road? At the moment have been going Farringdon - Clerkenwell - Grays Inn Rd then a horrible cross two lanes of traffic moment to get on to the right turn lane on Euston Road....

Black cab pulled in on me today. Asked if his cab was broken and then gave extravagant milking mime. Was informed I took it very calmly by Mario Cipollini at the next set of lights. Mayfair!

Don’t know how you avoid crossing Euston Road - have you tried going along Tavistock and then up Marchmond to see if the staggered junction there is any easier?

One of Londons finest bus's over took me, pinched in on me and then stopped at the pedestrian crossing at Shoreditch end of Bethnal Green Road. tried to have a nice chat with him, I was told I should have been in the cycle lane, that was all he would say. Those cycle lanes are shit and always full of people walking....

Fuck buses!
