If you can sell it. If not, what then?
Get a tenant in to cover costs of having second place, otherwise you're losing money.

If you can't sell the property is advertised for too much. Everything sells at the right price.

Not exactly encouraging anyone to build anything is it?

Landlord can't make money.. developer can't make money.
