That to me seems a logical price. I love my Ferraby and I appreciate that it's an 'arty' knife (particularly the handle) rather than something a bit more industrial/functional. But I was thinking of getting a parer to match when I spotted he's upped his prices in the year or two since I got mine by about 300 quid, so his new round of chef's knives are now 700 quid. Couldn't tell if I was being precious.

I think that's mental.

I follow him and his knives look great but the blade is surely the main part of the knife and not sure his are better than the other custom/specialist options out there?
