I bailed as well.
Weather/DIY/ etc coincided to allow mespilus jr. & myself to 'kill a few birds' with one stone.
Decathlon opened their new store in the (otherwise dreary) Uxbridge Intu centre,
so we jumped on a bus, (two fares cheaper than parking), to get to that,
and,
also got tickets to see BR2049,
after doing the homework of watching the Brexit cut, and the 'Making of ....' documentary
from the 5-disc box set I bought a few years ago.
Good evening, Decathlon were handing out cheap rucksacks (Arpenaz 10),
we bought a couple of items to thank them for saving us from cycling to either Surrey Quays or Reading,
we got into the roles by buying cheap noodles from a 'hole-in-the-wall' Chinese place,
the 'homework' meant we were up to speed for some of the references Hampton Fancher dropped in, and then got the 'scenic' 331 bus back home to Ruislip.
