Did a refresher knife sharpening hang out with @mashton and having one knife that isn't actually blunt as fuck has infused me with the desire to actually use the whetstones I purchased and get the others back to sharpness, and then purchase more expensive knives to replace the ones I have so I can spend more time sharpening and honing them so they are super sharp..
My friends wife is Japanese so might speak to her and see if I can get hold of a couple next time they are back visiting the parents..
