Rode the Shark today, weather was shit I was expecting dry, low wind and about 16 degrees.
Got to Ide Hill and it was cold, wet and foggy, after Hogtrough it pissed it down all the way home.
Had to shower and head straight out to go to a gig, literally doing everything not to fall asleep on the tube right now.
I bet that was grim. Especially as the persistent light rain for a lot of the day wasn't forecast by any of my usual weather forecasting options.
But, as you rightly say, it beats working.
Mainly as I wasn't expecting it I made some bad kit choices, such as not having any gloves or a rain jacket with me, normally I don't leave the house without it!
