Things you may miss are Kitten Lane, both out and back; On the way out it's a right turn off the main road just as it starts to descend, on the way back it's a hidden left turn just as the steady descent becomes a downhill.
Next is the slight left about half a mile after Berden, about 15.5 miles in. It's easy to spot but the group may be going quite fast at that point.
The right turn at Rickling Green should be obvious but remember that the road after is quite gravelly and technical (and also my favourite part of the route, ride it as fast as you dare!).
At the end of that lane (Brixton Lane no less) left at the Yew Tree pub for a stretch on a fairly main road. At the right turn (which is the first proper right so you can't miss it) go the long way round the green/traffic-island unless you fancy a bit of cross training. Soon after this turn is a sharp decent followed by a sharp climb, there is a ford at the bottom of that dip which I've never seen flowing by can have a bit of gravel right at the fastest point and where the road turns.
Next is the only complex bit. After you've climbed out of the ford you sweep right and arrive at a junction where the route hairpins back on itself. Down there, at the bottom of the dip, take the first right, climb a bit, then take the first left and straight on to the start of the sprint (watch out for gravel and potholes all along that section).
The sprint is straightforward enough, just watch out for Wideford where the road (and Ludwig) sweeps right but the route carries straight on onto the minor road. And Kitten Lane again as covered before.
Bit of train reading for you...
