Thank you very much mate, mine deffo is a '92, it came with DX parts originally according to the guy I've bought it from.

I can hardly believe that. When I bought my Scott Windriver (back in 1991 - equipped with 7 speed DX), Marin was in the running too but as far as I remember Bear Valley was lower-mid range (exage stuff). Maybe in 1992 they had some upgrade, I don't know.

Sorry, my bad, I mean it came with some DX parts haha. Brake/shift levers were DX. Other stuff were mainly 500GS.
