Call that short gearing?

An old racey racey car I had did 10.1mph/1000rpm in top and ran into the limiter at 129mph.

Hmmm, cruisey. My Striker does 9mph/1000rpm, and runs into the limiter at 118mph and 12,500rpm.

I take it that was your Fury R1? What diff did you have fitted in that?

Yep. 3.54 live axle. I went for balloony 205s on the back to maximise the gearing. I think they were 70 profile.
