The Grand Espace is still a formidable non-Van van,
(can get 8ft sleepers in the back with all the seats out,
admittedly with the rear hatch ratchet-strapped down),
and carries bikes with ease.
The last couple of weeks have been the first time I have worked in the Congestion Charge zone in probably a decade. (I have previously taken your time-based advice, and either passed though, or arrived before the CZ started at 7AM).Eventually the RGE will fall foul of the enlarging of the zone for the T-Charge,
(logically it should be the entire area bounded by the M25, despite some of that area not being 'London'), so maybe I should be looking for a spacious smaller vehicle, Honda FR-V/MB 'A'-series etc, or a Town Car, Peugeot 107, rather than something, (C4 Grand Picasso) that cannot compete with the RGE.
Thank you for the offer of the ecu gear should I end up with a PSA vehicle.
Are you based in London?
In that case what can you sell yours for preferably away from London then...look at what is cheap. Ford is usally cheaper. If you get a cit/pug I have a copy of the ecu software and cables.
