Looking at the geometry I think they are not so far apart.
The seat tube length in the catalogue for a 2015 equilibrium is 550mm and the effective top tube 567mm. I can’t find an earlier catalogue.
The Litespeed is 516mm and 560mm.
It would mean an extra 34mm of seat post visible?

Might well be but the tiny headtube is going to make a big difference
