DA cables, or Performance Lifeline. Absolutely no point in anything in between.

Jealous of the electric assist on your Bullitt! Would be handy for shifting the 100kg+ of files I have to get across town every morning. I find our work Bullitts surprisingly fast even without assist when they're not over loaded though.

Looking forward with that and dont forget to update us,
Regarding the paint its kinda strange but ill tell yah the area with deeper orange colour is the stock paint which is the previous owner put a tape and the lighter colour is effect of sunlight etc as he used for about 6years (thats long isnt) frame still true when i inspect it

do you mean "columbus foco"?
it's columbus NemoI rode "her" today for the first time and to be honest it felt a bit different from my other scapin. Hey Gaston, you are, for sure, someone who knows columbus Nemo very well. Do you think it was only my impression or the frames are a bit different? This "new" one says "columbus NEMO" and the other scapin says "columbus NEMO custom". This "new" one seamed less stiff and maybe more comfortable. Well, maybe it was only my impression but...

I used a coin underneath the end. Can't remember which, i think it was like 5p or 1p was just the right size.

90s MTB tart-up with stuff of out the parts-bin.
1994 Marin Bear Valley Special Edition - now with a mix of low mileage 90s components, cheapo risers and fatter tyres. Guards need flaps.

Are those the dead cheap guards from eBay? Looks like you've done a significantly better job of fitting them than I did...

love those Marin frames, nice rides mate

No they are "Phillips" brand, a range of components sold here in NZ in most bike shops. Not budget but not flash either. Not as well made as SKS but not far off, same construction. Just a bit short. The frame's rear chain stay and seat stay bridges are both drilled and threaded so you can get a neat fix point without the need for the clips.

Oi, I have the same frame haha! Your build is ruddy awesome.
What does the sticker on the fork say, if I may ask? Mine's half scratched, couldn't see the number below Rockstar.
Appreciate that sir
