Anyone want one of these for a few quid? 25mm high, tapered 50mm to 35. Unused, bought wrong thing.

Could be a Breezer too. Or a Saracen. Or a late nineties Scott.

Removed the shite Crank Brothers bars and replaced them with Nitto For Shreds. By some fortuitous miracle Blue Lug initially sent me some 25.4 clamp Shreds, then told me to keep 'em and sent the 31.8's. SHREEEDDDDD.

there's a p650b frameset on eBay that looks like a bargain:

want!

I'd say that's a bit of a bargain for sure...The paint appears to be in better shape than mine, but finding a good non-tapered fork for these things appears to be getting increasingly difficult!

Have been thoroughly enjoying my P650b lately. We'll be hitting the Munda Biddi soon!

I'm tempted by that p650b. I'm 6', 32" inseam, and ride a 17" P29er.

what width tyres do you have on there? Trying to figure out if I can fit a 30c or 28c into my road logic.

30c or 28c
which rims?
-
• #343
h+son archetypes -- they are 23mm outer, I haven't found the inner width online
-
• #344
Archetypes are old school wide so a 28c would come up at 28c but would balloon up vertically more than the nu wide rims like Ardennes. For reference my 25mm tyre comes up 29mm wide on Ardennes.
Most modern frames are ok with vertical balloon shape vs the wide profile (hugely dependant on chainstays).
I don't have (or have had) Road Logic but if you get a shot of clearance mentioning which rim and tyre width we can do some InternetMath®

annoying how a wheelset I got built 1.5 years ago is now old school. They do have a nice zip to them tho...
Doesn't ballooning mean more pinch flats or something?
I'll take pics later. So get your InternetCalculator ready.

Not at all. The profile and the contact patch gets wider as the rim width increases.
Nu Wide is generally 20mm+ internal and 25mm+ external which is the limit for rim brakes.

700x28 Conti GP 4000 on Mavic Aksiums didn't fit on a friends Road Logic, even though Ritchey claims 28 tyres should fit

That’s odd.

Yep, it is. It seems to be a known issue, as they increased tyre clearance for the the new Road Logic. You can find loads about this on some other forums...
That'll be a beaut. I haven't had a chance to ride mine as yet, but I can say that I've had an erection since first touching it. Now all I need to do is sell my other mountain bike and track bike and I'll be able to move around in the house again.
