S75 looks ace but I'm thinking of actually riding this as opposed to the tarck version. Hence modern GS on vintage frame may be the way forward.. Will see when it arrives.

Definitely yes. You probably couldn't have afforded to do this in 2007 BUT YOU CAN NOW!

FFS, a 48t comes up after three years of waiting and some knobber has polished the living daylights out of it. The search continues...

Yup I've got the 3R roadie back in my hands. BB shell faced and chased. New dropout screws. New downtube adaptors. New Ti bolts. Deciding on the GS (Possibly modern Shimano) and also whether or not to go 1" threadless and a lightweight carbon fork.. In two minds about modern or vintage build though can't decide! T

Dura ace if you will be riding it. I'd keep the OG forks

Whilst I’ve still not found 48 and 54t chainrings (please please please shout me if you have one or both!!) I have found something else from the original 3R catalogue. If I win it’s another addition to my life story which is the 3R. There’s also an original catalogue -featured bike box going but it’s flat/storage space I’m concerned about at that point! T
