Imagine a couple of dozen Indras on the ride :'D

• #108
Gosh. Do you have a helmet policy?
-
• #109
I'm riding out from SE London, but timing can be quite hard for me as I'll be in Bad Dad mode and timings need to be "elastic". Plus I'll be on gears so that means I'll be crushing it on the way out #sockride #outsideisdoping #fromwhereifree

Also on gears, and also hoping to burn off a few pies on the way up. Leaving Crystal Palace at 8.30 / 9am, passing through Herne Hill / Brockwell park / Brixton Road. Give me a shout anyone who wants to link up.

I would strongly recommend it given a badger had quite a nasty head injury not long ago
-

No helmet policy as such, although some awful bastard will lead you under some very low branches during the ride, so it's quite useful then.
Mostly, it's nice if you have tools, puncture stuff and appropriate clothing, as it may be chilly when we stop for cake. ( some dry socks for after you step in a deep puddle is also good.. )
Also, don't ever follow the lights or stray from the path....

Bad Dad mode
Bring your son on this and be a 'Rad Dad' instead.
-
• #114
Yes, you have to be an utter helmet to ride with the honey badgers
-
• #115
Due to the recent arrival of a mini-mmccarthy I'll not be able to make Epping outings for a few more weeks unfortunately!
-
• #116
Congrats, Mick. Found the perfect present for you!
-
• #117
No mmccarthy = lots of people are going to get lost now....
-
• #118
And no one will be there to watch the inevitable falls...
-
• #119
Hmmm..

• #120
congrats!!

Awaiting clearance as i've been double booked. @winnifred0001 If i can come i'll be heading from Sydenham, hadn't considered riding up as i'm still getting used to riding a giant sponge but might join if you don't mind a potentially slow bastard. Alternatively i was gonna chuck my bike on the rack which would leave space in the boot if you wanna get a lift?
-
• #122
Cheers, but I'm looking forward to an early morning blast through the cold empty streets :)
Happy to swing by sydenham though if you decide you want to ride, we could go up over Twoer bridge

*Tower Brigde.
