Info on the rider. Still no clarity as to what happened. It seems as if a witness only saw the immediate aftermath of the fall. He may have come from Cornthwaite Road or from the Lea Bridge Roundabout, but it's mysterious how he fell.

Very sad, very hard for this poor man's family, especially not knowing what happened.
The pictures on twitter and the severity of his injuries indicate a high speed crash, something happened near the junction or pedestrian crossing. There may be some clues from damage to the bike but we may never find out.
