I believe Edelux 2 has the same internals as B&M Cyo Premium, which I have. The top of the beam is cut pretty close to the brightest part of it, so you can get it pretty high while still not pointing the top end of the beam that high. But still, when riding on small roads with short steep dwnhills that shraply curve at the same time, I want to point it so high that some seem to feel it's annoying. There's lots of light, but no too bright spots, pretty nice.
