I have the Supernova already. I also have a battery light for when I'm walking up shit creeks during TCR. It's angled down a lot so I don't annoy those precious little sweethearts in their cars.
I was just wondering if the road-specific nature of the Edelux would allow it to be aimed higher and thus throw longer beam. Guess power still wins.
Thanks for the info. Might still consider trying other lights.

I have both (I have the triple pro though) and agree with @Ramsaye
They are very different, if you want the longest beam / most amount of light the Supernova. If you don't want to blind anyone coming towards you, the Edelux 2. The Supernova is nuts on the road though, although I point it right down and burn the tarmac about 20ft away. It also flickers annoying at low speed and the stand light casts no beam at all, so just before you come to a stop everything goes dark, which is a pain when I get somewhere.
