Back in London after a long absence; 5 years in the West Coast of Canada, living cheaply.
So here I am back in the Big Smoke, looking at hundreds a month in rent. So I am looking for a like-minded bunch of fellow Cyclistas to hang with rent a room and generally get to know the London scene once again.
My budget at the moment is about 450-500. I have work as a mechanic in two London shops.
I bring with me a backpack, bikecase, steel racing bike, tools and workstand.. Yes of course I will service you bikes for free and of course we can kill it out on the busy roads of London.
I am a pretty sensible guy. I have a family back in Canada, although I am British. I am intelligent and hard working and looking for a break in London.
Ideally you'd have a nice room. I'm quite social so communal living is quite interesting to me.. Although being a family and working man, I need the chance to sleep and work and appreciate those who like to party, but everything in moderation. It would be nice to just live with people that are like-minded and have similar interests as my interests in Cycling are quite broad.
I hope this strikes an accord with some of you.. I am new to the forum, but I am completely approachable so please p.m with recommendations or indeed if you have a room that sound like it could be suitable..
Yeah, bicycle lovers.
