  • I've only really tried what I've had in distillery tours. Never bought any.
    I'll give this a whirl and then maybe some tasters from MoM if it's any good.
    Got other stuff to get through first though

  • Teelings is a new Distillery in Dublin, it's only a couple of years old. It was the first distillery to open here in over 100 years, they're popping up all over the country now. So the whiskey itself is from Cooley Distillery, now owned by Suntory. It doing pretty well here and has won a bunch of awards for the 24 year old single malt.

    The small batch, which I imagine is the sample you have, is very good. It's aged in Rum barrels so picks up a bit of spice from that . Like most Irish whiskey it's a blend of grain and malt, triple distilled.
