My home made panel stand base looks like this.
But with box from some stolen signs and my welds look neater and more angle ground smooth than pretty welding.

Waxoyl is shite, aweful to clean off and no corrossion resistance. Also doesn't cling and attracts dirt. Dinitrol is better.

If using waxoyle is your thing look at Shell Ensis fluid, it comes in 25l tubs but look at the specs.

Look at the bilt hambert website that stuff is the current best.

Or cold glavanizing paint. Cheap and works.

I just googled 'yorkshire rose' then traced it, so hope it is the right one ;)
