That's no minivelo, that's a BMX tallbike.

I bough one from London Recumbents in Dulwich Park from Nigel.
Loved it. Set it up single speed.

Nigel bought many of these, all bright green planning to sell them to the London Polo scene, who weren't interested.

Eventually sold it to a friend who learnt to ride a bike on it. Easy for beginner riders to learn on.
And bought another exactly the same

I spoke with a couple of shops and got the idea that at the moment Orbea aren't sending any out so the 2017 bikes will all get sold and then they will send out the totally identical apart from a tiny thing 2018 bikes. I got another bike instead to satisfy the itch so in a few months I might have gone off mini bikes.

Bmx tallbike would do it😉

London recumbants aie?

We got an orbea Katu for my wife last year as a station bike. It is awesome. Basket on frame makes it stable to ride.

^one of those going cheap on the 'bay at the moment, up the road from me (about 25 mins by car, in Peterborough). Could possibly pick up and bring to the smoke if interested?

Yeah i saw that and as im closer to Brighton than London i had ruled it out. Although they do look very similar to an old folder with that dropped crossbar and i have a few of them 😉

I think im going to have a look what he has as he has some built up already with single speed 2 speed sturmey archer and frames and forks. So depends what money he wants really.

Looks like im getting a singlespeed with alexrims DA22 451 wheels. I will worry about getting a 3 speed hum on it later. Just though that as he has a couple already built id go for the full bike. I can fiddle with it as i like but i can also pick it up on the train and ride it home.😎

Off on the train in the morning. I havent taken a bike on the train since there were mail cars with the double doors and a man in them so it will be fun 🤔
Have been thinking i may put the shimano nexes 3 speed in the wheels once its home and change out the bars for sure. I will post pics.
