Not exactly nothing - combined with the bad press shareholders and customers are hardly going to be happy! It was the biggest fine ever issued for such a breach and it finally sent a message to them and similar organisations to get your shit together, this is real. £500,000 is the maximum fine the ICO can give, at least until GDPR comes into effect next year and then we're all fucked, I mean protected, as the fines can be % of the company's earnings or something like that.
