More seriously - its not the grams, its the aesthetics of putting ugly pattern parts on to finish an expensive bike build - hence my facetious reference to feng shui

That makes more sense. You're allowed to like the look of something.

It was the reference to the weight weenie brands I didn't get.
Like putting a sports exhaust on a 1L Polo.
