• Anyone have an opinion on MG BGT's? Thinking of buying one. I want a project and my dream car (Volvo P1800) is a bit more pricey than I want.

  • I had one as my first decent car, really liked it. As mentioned simple to fix and work on and a multitude of spares and upgrades available (moss motors will give you an idea of this). It was a nice drive and at over 6' quite comfortable. Problems I recall all revolved around rust, the sills were a known weak point but an "easy" fix and also along the top of the rear wings. When I had mine the rubber bumper version was cheaper and I presume this is still the case. I'd love to have one again and think they look nicer than the soft top.
