Getting a carradice was one of my best bike related purchases to date. Barely changes the handling of the bike and everything’s super easy to get to and get in and out. Having rode my girlfriend’s bike with loaded basket, I wouldn’t go front loading before rear and framebag now.

I've whipped the rack and basket off (not that much weight in them btw) and have rerouted the wiring and stuff. Already feels a bit more sprightly just riding around inside at work plus WHEELIES!
I have one of the semi big Ortlieb saddle bags, the one that goes on the bracket rather than the full on bikepacking one. About 3 litres or so. I think that plus the small Restrap framebag and handlebar bag that I already own will be plenty carrying capacity.

My Vagabond. Thinking about adding triple cage mounts to the fork...

Picked up Fox's Croix Dr Fer on here which will become my main Audax bike for this season.
Swapping most bits over from my road bike, so it will be a bit over specced for a CDF with Sram Force 11 Hydro group, wheels are an SP dynamo and a bomb proof Halo Spindocter on Archetypes with 32c Gravelkings, and matt finish Bluemels.
Decided to let my local shop do the work, I usually do everything myself, but decided to get it done properly for once, should pick it up tomorrow ready for its first 200k this Saturday.

Hows that B&M light? Thinking of getting one

where is this pic taken?

Ehh....its good, there might be better out there though.
It's supposed to be like 80 lux but I have a 30 lux Axa Pico that I was running off a bottle dynamo on another bike and I'm sure was brighter.
Build quality is 10x better on the B&M right enough.

Finished off my CDF last night.
Pretty pleased with how it's turned out, really comfortable ride which is what I was after for longer brevets. Need to trim mudguard stays tonight and dig out my bike fit measurements and it's pretty much done.
Just in time for my first 200k of the new Audax season on Saturday.

Your bike looks great and I hate to be the one to tell you, but one of your rims was laced the other way around. :/

I know, it kills me everyday, it was might fault too. I got them built separately, not at the same time and should have specified when I booked in the rear, if we are being really picky also one has silver nipples and one black too :(
I'm going to wait until the SP bearings inevitably die, it's done over 11,000k so shouldn't be long now and get the front rebuilt then!

@mustardbeak Is that the original carbon fork ?
-

Haha the exact same thing happened to me with Archetypes after I got a rim replaced. I've decided to ignore.

Although I use rim brakes so could just flip the front rim round...

When I built up my archetypes I spent an inordinate amount of time making sure the rim and hub logos were facing right direction and in the right position relative to one another.
Building a new set with the unbranded kinlin rim. No logos, a joy!

It's the Genesis after market one. It doesn't come with the frame when you buy it.

Exactly what I had done until I posted that image on here and was reminded haha

So I took my slimming down of my Day One a bit further today, whipped off the Nexus wheel, shifter, etc and the rear brake and put on a fixed rear wheel.
It's actually a trials hub and I'm using the disc brake side to hold a 6 bolt iso cog. There's a freewhel thread so if I wanted I could go singlespeed with 2 brakes pretty easily too.
Still keeping the guards and the dynamo but it does feel a lot lighter and lively now.
Also stuck some spd pedals on, have some of those platforms you bolt cleats to in the mail incase I want to use trainers or that for commuting.

They must have changed the spec then. I got my frame set in early 2016 and it came with the colour matched steel fork.

Setup changed. Havent got an updated pic yet. Sadde and pedals changed. Im running 37s on these. Wanna change the wheelset and do similiar to @HoKe setup. Might be able to get a discount on the surly fixed/disc hubs.
