Thanks for the feedback,
My major issue with the adaptor and thomson is they don't seem very nice to be putting on a frameset that is close to £2 k rrp. for that kind of money I want my finishing kit sleek and weenie. Something like this http://www.carbonice.net/Seatpostclamp/Eva::16.html.
Put it this way, frameset is planned to cost £1850. If it was £1925 with the CF seat post and derailleur clamp goodness - preferably Isen branded - it would be a no brainer to me.
Oh a Thomson kit has no place on high end road frames imo.

I'd agree with bar and stem, but do have a soft spot for the collars.
Herein lies the problem though, thomson to you is bike cancer whilst I know plenty of people who view almost all design of carbon collar as an affront to humanity and therefore whatever we chose would be wrong for someone. Also, the reason we didn't add a braze on for front mech is so people could run it 1x without it looking like the wrong bike, so those people would be paying money for something they don't want if we added a front mech adaptor to the build. I see the logic in things people need being available at purchase though, just need to work out the most logical way to do it.
Yes to everything.
For front mech, I'd suggest the shimano one as its nice, subtle, slim line and cheap.

For seat collar I'd go with Thomson, not horrendously expensive and comes with a stash bag.
We thought about offering these with the frames, but decided to just let people decide. Some people dislike Thomson, some people will use campag and won't want a shimano branded adaptor on their frames.
Maybe adding them to the Web store would be a goer?
