Its quite a weird feeling to observe a bunch of internet people being highly critical of somebody you used to know pretty well in real life. Celebrity is a weird thing.

I was quite pleased to see yesterday's announcement about life sentences for drivers who kill, but upon reading the Ministry of Justice press release on it, I had barely read five lines before face palming. Wtf is this line?!

I saw the interview on C4 news last night, and there's something very odd about the whole thing. Maybe it's my disbelief that someone could delude themselves about something for so long, maybe it's the whole "I compartmentalised it for years until it was directed at me" or maybe it's the fact that he's currently on bail for race hate offences, but something about the whole situation is just off. Fascinating story though.
