I can't help you there, I bought bog-standard filters which are a slightly different size to the V60 cone, and I don't mind. Once the water's in there it deforms to the right shape anyway.

Where are you based? Most decent coffee shops in London stock them.
Alternatively you can buy from Hario either direct or through Amazon.

Yes you can get 'fakes'
They're just non-hario ones I can't say as I've noticed a major difference in how the stack up. But coffee shops will usually stock the og Hario ones

@umop3pisdn @Drakien you guys having any problems getting consistent filter papers? I've been buying them off ebay and was getting them embossed with 'v60' and with a little tab, last batch are plain and no tab. Google seems to suggest that there are inconsistencies in genuine filters but also that there are lots of fakes going about.
