I tried this today. It did not work. They just fill up with water.

I was riding through pretty deep streams. But it was difficult to get a good seal around your ankles, so water just runs down your legs and straight into the sandwich bag

They're just meant to keep your feet warmer but cutting wind chill, not dry.
I use them because most overshoes don't work with midfoot (and I hate overshoes anyway)

Need to bodge this bracket back onto light. Zip Ties / tape?

I blame beer. Fixed.

Actually, it's used for a few different external BB's, hollowtech II being the most common.
