Reading Franquin's "idees noir/black ideas" it's bleakly funny and very nihilist. Atomic bombs, no money for hospitals cos it's spent on the military, a prison planet... plus ca change.
It seems there's no English translation still, my French is sorta good enough to get the gist but need to get Google translate out for the finesse.
