there is a great range of 650b tyres now, so I think it makes most sense in this application.

I've long been an advocate of building bikes from the tyres up, so if 584 is where the tyre market has gone then that's what you have to use, for small people. I just hope tyre manufacturers keep serving those of us tall enough to exploit the benefits of 622 🙂
