Lots of black cab drivers have a GPS nagivation in their cab.

I saw a cab yesterday that had a big bloody tablet next to the driver with a map of London on, so much for remembering stuff.

Lots of them don't. They can't know everything but they're a shit load better than minicab drivers who spend half their time on the GPS half their time answering another phone.

They've just spent 2-4 years driving around the city they will be working in, that's better than most Uber drivers. They've managed to keep their lic. that long for starters.
