Don't know what bike it is.. but it isn't a Lester. They always have 3 holes in the top of the seatstay.
And couldn't care less about that saddle.

Yes, I am from Turkey. I never had an issue with Evans.
BTW, thanks to everyone. I totally forgot Pinnacle. I made up my mind. Will go for P/Arkose after i sell those two steel ones. But, should i go for it? Part of me says, i probably will never find a good frame like that Breezer. -

My experience with CX77s is totally opposite, they worked really well and were a worthwhile upgrade compared to any other mechanical disc brake I've ever used

hmm wonder what I did wrong then.. I even found Avid BB5 doing a better job on the same cables (Jagwire Pro) and bike.

I was upgrading from BB-7s at that time

Holding a damp tissue to the rotors would be an improvement on BB7.

can't believe this.. BB7s with some Jagwire pro are so close to hydraulic performance to me. Really makes me wonder what we are doing differently, our experiences couldn't be this far apart..

Agrees, however there are some disc calipers in a batch whose pads don’t sit straight inside the calipers which offer a very spongy performances, not being able to line them up perfectly and can’t get pads close enough without rubbing, compressionless or not.
A lots of mechincal disc are like that, annoying as I know they can be good, as good as hydraulic even.
Bb7, Spyres, CX77, Haye CX1 to name but a few.
This is why some people are really poor experience with them but other had awesome experience.

Standard MTB BB7 with suitable levers: great brakes.
Road BB7's with SRAM levers: totally useless.

had close to the same performance on my Awol to my Cielo. And that isn't saying the Cielo is missing any stopping power: https://www.pedalroom.com/members/jaap
about a month and a half ago I bought 2 Rose cross bikes with ultegra (6800) and CX77s that really wouldn't stop.. switched cables, pads, rotors and eventually swapped around with the Awol and the bikes had all the stopping power they needed with BB7s on them.

Like I said, some model's calipers doesn't allow pads to sit straight whether other does.

Never tried with Shimano levers, with SRAM performance was dire - and I tried all of the usual suggestions, and some more unusual ones such as brake force multiplying cams etc.

I am extremely happy with my Verenti - got the Apex version. That it's now under a grand is quite amazing.
