You may have read in Cycling Weekly that Hillingdon has planning permission for an outdoor 250 m banked track in the middle of the existing circuit. There will be little in the way of facilities for spectators, so its intended for training and minor racing rather than the sort of events that LVVP/HH put on.
They do need £1.25 million to build the thing though, and are looking for expressions of support from potential users in order to influence potential funding (e.g. from the Lottery). There's an email address in the link below if you want to show some support for a west London track.
