I looked at it. I read it. I have no idea what any of those mods achieve.

He attached both a SRAM MTB cage with clutch and a XT cage with clutch to a ultegra di2 rear derailleur. So you can use a di2 front road derailleur with it.

Also he put di2 internals in SRAM hydraulic (doubletap) shifters.

So, first is for MTB and 'cross where clutch helps avoid chain drops?

Second one, he likes SRAM shifters but wants to use them with Di2 deraillers so converted them.

Ok, that's a bit clearer now. I think. Maybe. Fuck is it beer o'clock yet?
