That is genius. Just need to make a throttle/brake out of some midi volume pedals now.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Anyone played it? Didn't try the first one and was wondering what it's like. Does it play as well as Skyrim or Red Dead?
-
• #18005
It does not.

First one is just OK. Got some fun moments, quite an immediate learning curve but give it half an hour and you figure things out. Nice looking at times but found it very buggy (PC) and grindy. Not sure at what stage I stopped playing (67 hours according to Steam).

1st one is basically the batman games with a LoTR skin. Enjoyable but nothing that deep...
Second one is supposed to have a better nemesis system which helps replayability and a more personalised game.

sumo and i griped about the first further back in the thread.
am holding out for rave reviews or a discount for the sequel.

the first one is fun for a bit, but about twice as long as it should be. The nemesis thing is cool but not enough to save the game. It's worth buying if you can get it on sale for like £10 - £15. The whole loot box fiasco has put me off even trying the second one, apparently you need a certain amount of goons before you can take on the final mission and the grind is crazy to get enough unless you pay more money for random chance loot boxes.

Playing on my phone. It's too slow. Dammit. Only at 150k while a mate is catching fast.

I have been spamming the 'compute' button whenever all of the black boxs end up with no spaces between them until it the qOps figure goes down to zero, helps to fill the operations bar much more quickly

I'm running it on a virtual machine which I'm also doing work on. It's *so far) eaten about 10% of my CPU, which, literally means my work is 10% slower.
Worth it.
