is it bad or difficult to get parts for something that's 11 years old? does it run ok or need any maintenance prior to selling?
potentially keen though thank you very much.yes bruce i definitely want a Brompton and nothing else, fine with 2 speed, cheap as possible. i'm also currently based in willesden so Catford is a bit too far for me unfortunately

Changes to the design come slowly and are usually retrofittable (e.g. the rear frame clip, which was introduced in 2007 - if @Hairyback hasn't already added it, you can easily). Plus you get the fun of everybody in this thread piling in to recommend upgrades.

It needs nothing. All parts are easily available from Brompton. Modern parts are interchangeable if anything wears out on it in the future.
The design hasn't changed much over the years.
I'd be looking for £700 including sbag & frame. Lights. And xlite bar ends and smoother running easy wheels. Original easy wheels & reflectors etc included inside the s bag.
I have an s6l i'm thinking of selling. It's a 2006 in black. Comes with an S bag and lights.
It's actually my wifes and been used probably less than 15 times in those 11 years.
You're welcome to come and see it in Spitalfields if you're in the area. I'll be in the area today and all weekend.
