wildly exagerrated lmao, and since when was a 90 degree stairwell a daunting prospect?
Basically it is another exampel of cyclists being treated like absolute shit and I for one would be fuming as a matter of principle every day that I was treated like shit.
jeessssuussss.....

Seems like she's doing okay fortunately: http://www.carolinelivesey.co.uk/turning-corners/
Edit: she went from barely running to a marathon (full Iron Man) in 10 weeks? Time to get myself attacked by a plumber

Do cities ever hire firms with actual cyclists in them to design features like these? Semi-complex infrastructure like this always seems to be done by people who would have trouble sketching a bicycle from memory

phone up the owner of Pimlico Plumbers

I am also disappointed that the likes of Angelina Jolie, Paltrow etc haven't called him out before now. Surely they were secure and powerful enough to make the allegations rather than waiting for others to blow the first whistle.
That's a bit victim-blaming. Weinstein wasn't the only guy doing this, won't be the only creep they've had to fend of carefully in their careers, it's a thing at all levels of the industry. Victims risk law suits and public ridicule and even the most famous actresses have less secure careers than their male counterparts.

PG&E and other large utilities in California have a long history of being found responsible for major wildfires because of inadequate maintenance of their power lines.

Certainly not victim blaming - I have the utmost sympathy with all who have experienced it and I'm sure it is / has been pretty endemic in that industry.
There are those like Jennifer Lawrence who have been vocal about pay disparity with the accompanying risk to their career but who are in a secure enough position to take it on. Jolie and Brad Pitt were probably the most high profile couple in Hollywood for years, have campaigned on a number of issues and could have used their position to bring this out earlier. But I understand the reasons why not and it's obviously a deeply personal choice - hopefully it'll flush out any others who've been doing the same now it is in the open. -

So an ex tory councillor for Norfork who was wearing some nice fancy clothes, riding around on a horsie in yorkshire calling himself a huntsman has a had charges of hunting a wild mammal dismissed by his lawyers. He did have to resign from his job though for saying he'd like to shag some lady who was there worried about foxes. Must of been nice being a councillor on norfolk while you live in yorkshire.

I have bookmarked this thread with expectation that we’ll see him become a Tory MP for somewhere utterly unrelated to where he lives within 10 years.

Popbitch on Weinstein and celebrity journalism. Essenziale.

If you think you’re getting away with it, we can assure you’re not.
People know, and the tide is turning. It’s no coincidence that these allegations are cropping up with increasing frequency. Women (and men) across all industries are feeling much more confident to come forward with their stories.
It might take five years. It might take twenty. It might take longer and you might get lucky and die before the worst of it hits. But if that’s what you’re holding out for, you should know that you’re essentially following the career trajectory of Jimmy Savile.
And if your best hope is to become “the next Jimmy Savile”, you might want to reconsider a few things… -

"Mobile phone footage showed Hammond clamping her teeth on Miss Holloway’s ear, shaking her head about “like a dog with a chew toy”, before spitting the severed flesh on to the pavement.
Hammond, who denied intending to hurt Ms Holloway, sat stony-faced in the dock at Southwark crown court yesterday as a jury found her guilty of wounding with intent."

I just can’t believe this. A lady was sexually assaulted three times in one hour while waking home. All three seem to be separate attacks...

That poor, poor woman, I can't imagine the horror of going through something like that... Castration is too good for the cunts responsible, lock them up in a dark cell and throw away the key... Makes me so angry...
That anyone in the corridor or listening in from nearby suites would mock him for not having jerked off into a pot plant in front of her already.
