Agreed. Obviously the price is in the frame but I'd have a hard time dropping nearly 3 grand on aksiums

Serotta legends are not worth that much. You can get a Fierte Ti/carbon for about 700 quid. I would say 1400 would be a better starting point

Def. I've seen ottrotts here in the UK go for £1200. A stunning ti/carbon Fierte with complete record carbon GS went for £1500 on eBay a couple of weeks back. Alas not my size.
For this id be happy to offer £1200-1400 max. -

That Serotta is beautiful but hugely on the expensive side I think. Was it not £1900 a few minutes ago?
