Alternatively, we could also do laps at Regents, I’m sure that would be nice since Sunday is looking to be quite a nice day. In either case, how does a mid-day meetup sound?

I'd probably go Richmond.
I'm not 100% commuted yet though. -
• #55
No worries man. If it’s a timing thing we are obvs able to shift the time, as long as we aren’t riding at daft o’clock
-
• #56
I'm south west anyway, but regents is shorter and quicker so I'm happy for either
-
• #57
I’m down for either, but going to Regent’s Park means not dealing with all the spandex wankers in Richmond Park, and it’s central (likely more convenient for people to get to). Also we would be right by Camden, and I can’t resist a good bit of market food

Klaxon; possibly a spandex wanker.
Plus I'll probably be straggling as only just back on the bike. -
• #59
It’s cool man, this will be a chill ride - slow enough for some conversation. If I’m to be honest, I’ve been riding daily for years and I still take my time on my road bike.
-
• #60
I'll be riding my "fast bike"
...so I'll be riding slow so that people can see it
-
• #61
Yeah man. Not necessarily a slow ride, but one that isn’t just getting together, doing silent training laps and going home - know what I mean?
Though on my Roberts I definitely win the award for slowest dude on a fast bike

Unless I rock double spinergy. In which case I'll definitely be riding the slowest!
-
• #63
Ill be riding a Spinergy. Come on, mate.
-
• #64
Has no idea what a spinergy is.
-
• #65
Nicknamed suicide wheels because they have a tendency to explode spectacularly
-
• #66
Apinergy are a wheel company. Usually, though, a ‘spinergy’ refers to their wheel called the Rev X which they made in the 90s and were the most dangerous Wheels one could ride. I have one on the front of my Roberts in the pic below

Regents is a lot better for me as I live in Z4, Arnos Grove which is pretty much south Manchester
-
• #69
Actually, it depends on the Spinergy design. Original spinergy wheels snapped, 2nd revision ones blew up, and late production ones were actually really good, but are rarer than hens fucking teeth.
Luckily, I have a late production, but I’m not sure what kind of ticking time bomb @PhilDAS will be riding ;)

Yep sounds good to me buddy!
-
• #72
Should be fine!

• #73
I might come along. Got a ride to surrey that may or may not go ahead.
I'm definitely up for Richmond laps at some point. -
• #74
Cool, well feel free to show up if you’re free for a spot of chill riding
Well pencil me in with a time previso
