When i was about 9 I got a NES for Christmas and my 18yr old uncle who was living with us at the time bought me R-type for it as a present from him to me, which was the most mind blowing show of generosity from him I'd ever seen.

It wasn't until he would be playing it from the time I went to bed until we woke up the next morning that I twigged maybe it wasn't quite the self-less act I thought.

So today I was looking forward to getting home to a copy of Destiny 2 for PC because I got confused with the launch date of the consoles - 6th Sept. Balls.

The guy who brings his switch in has started beating me at lunchtime mario kart, might be time to brush off the old wii u and buy some expansions

got 3 fully levelled toons now. one of each class. tempted to drop the hunter class and re-level another titan just to increase the speed of getting to max 300 light as powerful engrams are tied to the class you open them on. (up to 293 on my warlock and titan now).

Yes for Cuphead.

Some boseses super easy so far, some took a bit of time and about 3-4 bosses really played with my nerves and had to learn the paterns and attacks for about 1-1.5h.

But it’s deeply satisfying once you beat it.

Currently fighting last boss on Island 3.

Amazing game.

FYI you only get powerful engrams on the first character of each class, so a second of any class is only a help if you're doing Nightfalls / Raiding, and even then only for the one drop you get from each

Finished Cuphead on Normal.

Haven’t played Dark Sould, but wouldn’t say it’s that difficult.

Involves a bit of “grinding” of learning patterns of attacks, but still super fun.

As many say - if you die, it’s your fault and that makes you wanna try again and again.

Looked up Cuphead too, looks like a crazy game, quite tempted...

I managed to kill 4 in a round the other day which is a record for me. Had no right to kill any of them though.

Tried to ambush first person in a house and blast with tommy gun. Emptied mag almost point blank and somehow missed them or hit only a couple of times. They did the same at me and missed too. We just crouched behind cover and shot at each other for a while until eventually I lucked them.

The noise drew someone nearby to investigate who started shooting me through the windows as I was looting first body. I happened to have a few rounds in an SKS and hip-fired at the window and somehow head shotted them.

Then I basically ran the entire end of the map without stopping (getting out by the blue zone a few times so having to use first aid kit). I saw someone standing up in a field 100 yards in front of me shooting at someone and getting hit. I ran up behind and shot them (stealing the others kill basically as it only took one round when they were lying down trying to bandage).

Then kept on running right to the last 'zone' where I lay down in shadow behind a tree and watched the survivors coming in. Saw someone come in and hide behind a tree in the same way in front of me and they started taking fire. I ran up behind with an uzi and shot them but obviously there was someone behind ME as well so I didn't almost instantly at number 11. Quite a large number for such a tiny area - fuck knows where all the others were.

Far Harbour was one of the best DLCs yet but I'm finding Nuka World a grind. Go find 50 practically invisible circuit boards. FUCK OFFFFFF. Might just kill everyone and have done with it.

Enjoyed story, did something very similar last team math with folks on here, pretty fun hiding in a bush about 5 foot from someone who just crawled over without seeing me, jump to my feet to put 5 rounds into him then get gunned down by someone doing almost exactly the same... my only kill that match but I'm averaging more these days, no chicken dinner but then Nandos is for pricks.
