I have a set of Fulcrum Racing 5s and the rims seem to be approaching the end of their life. What would you do with them? Buy some nice new rims and rebuild them? Should I go for "aero" (~30mm) rims or lightweight? Or just buy a whole new wheelset off the peg? The hubs are alright but I don't think they're anything special, and I'd obviously have to get new spokes. 18 spokes in the front (so it might be a little hard to find a rim for that?) and 20 at the rear.
Say I wanted to spend under £150 and was willing to rebuild them myself. Don't do any racing and not that fast so probably just looking for a general purpose wheel, if such a thing exists.
