Those single flap ones, slightly larger, would make a good cycling tool case.
For the rest of us, not for you, Hammer-boy.

Yup, another Paul Smith wallet.
I don't know if I'm so much a fan of Paul Smith wallets anymore. I've had mine for 4 years now and it has moulded itself in a rather unaesthetic way.
I fill it with 6 cards (5 plastic; 1 paper) and it usually has only a few notes in it. It's taken on the shape of the cards and I don't really like this. I've tried to put less cards in it but the 6 that are in it are in regular use:
- Driving licence
- Student ID
- Bank card
- Credit card
- Artisan Roast loyalty card
- Tesco clubcard
Here are the results after my 4 years of use.
- Driving licence

It just looks like a wallet that's had four years of use. They do have a hard life and they are made from soft leather.
None of the stitching's come loose and the print still looks good. Does that have the woven silk lining too?
My last one (that was stolen) was a good few years old and took on a good bit of character which I liked.

thread revival,
any recommendations for a cheap (sub £30) thin wallet/card holder for a lot of cards
I find myself needing about 8-10 cards, and i never carry more than 20 in cash and fine with change in my pocket so want to get rid of my bulky leather wallet

I've got one of these, super slim you don't even notice it in your pocket.

So a super old thread reawakens.
Today I noticed my Smythson card holder was looking a little worn. As per pic.
I email Smythson asking if they can repair it, sure they say. Free of charge they say. Excellent I think but lead time is 12 weeks!?!
Anyone else used this service? Will it actually be a lot quicker??

Funny, I was just looking for a thread like this :)
I've been using a Mighty Wallet for over 6 years now. It is awesome and I love it. It fits everything I need and still remains super slim.
Problem is: the 6 years didn't go by without any marks. It patina'd well and gained charm at first but it's getting out of hand lately. It got thrown in the bin once because a friend didn't expect it to be a wallet, haha
So what kind of wallet are you guys using or can recommend? I'm looking for one that is about the same dimensions (preferably smaller as in I have to fold up the paper money to fit) and takes at least 4 cards.

I picked up a Penco Carry-Tite yesterday that might fit the bill, I got it because it will be waterproof and hard wearing for Audax. Really nicely made folds pretty small but quite useful how it folds out with a bigger pocket.
I usually use a leather card holder but got fed up of having to put it in a plastic bag.

i've been using a combo of the rapha card case for everyday stuff and an essentials case with extra cards i need for travelling, i cant wait for the time when all cash is gone and all cards are stored on the phone but we're not quite there yet!

Have a look at Slimfold wallets, I've had them the last couple of years and they have always really impressed me how they hold up
Nice!
