Shiiit the weather looks good Sunday!
-
• #31
Exactly. It looks like Sunday will have the best weather for the rest of the month.
-
• #32
Hopefully my roadie will be rideable by then
Whatchu got?
-
• #33
Recently picked up a Roberts roadie. Had it’s front Dura Ace wheel stolen off it 2 days after getting it. I’ll likely do some work on it today, and I should be good to ride out on Sunday

Referring to the list started earlier, would any of you be interested in joining on Sunday, @AlphaOmega @Jules @Kuss ?
-
• #35
Lets see it. Building it up or keeping it how it came?
-
• #36
I’m building it up. It came with an old 105 3x9 set up so I’ll probably change out to new Ultegra 2x11. Since the front wheel got stolen, I’m having to rock about with my Spinergy on the front, which looks quite out of place. Sweet ride, though!

Terrible picture, I know, had to take it amongst all the random shit in my garden.
And yes, before anyone points it out, I know that saddle angle is horrible, and the pedals are fucked, and that someone nicked my rear brake pads
It is getting new brake pads, and tyres today. Would like to put bullhorns on the bike, but I don’t know how I would go about it
-
• #38
You riding it in that position?
-
• #39
Yeah. It’s not the most comfortable. I’ll change out the seatpost on Thursday and all should be good. Also yes, it’s silly that I need that much post. It’s apparently quite hard to find bikes in 62cm ST, 59cm TT
-
• #40
Frame looks small though. What size is it?
My 56cm frames look bigger -
• #41
Going modern?

It’s 57 ST, 59 TT
-
• #43
My frame may just look small because I have so much post
-
• #44
Interesting, looks deceptively long and low in the picture
-
• #45
I was more going off the length of headtube
-
• #46
It is long and low, for me. At this point, I treat it like a lo-pro. The only reason I’m not using bullhorns is to avoid this sort of abomination

got something to finish sorry
-
• #48
Ah no worries man. Just thought I’d ask since you expressed interest before
-
• #49
Open to newbies? What sorta time you thinking?
-
• #50
Yeah man, the more the merrier. Not sure about timing. I don’t know Richmond Park all too well either, so I’ll have to find a good place/time to meet.
Yeah, I was thinking of maybe just doing some chill rides around Richmond Park. Not necessarily training laps or anything, it’s just a nice place to ride, as long as the weather is decent. I’d be down for this Sunday, if that works for a few others? Hopefully my roadie will be rideable by then
