3/32 makes most sense tbh, unless you've the thighs of Forstemann I don't think it makes much difference so long as your drivertrain is set up well.
Cycled once in Germany so far, been shouted at once for using the road when there was a path. A path that was closed for construction work. Arschlochs are not unique to any one nation, are they?

Anything but, my physique is definitely more road cyclist than track cyclist. You'll find arschlochs in any country, no doubt. Germany is an automobile country so some drivers feel like they own the streets. For what it's worth, I never got any kind of abuse as a cyclist in the 5 years I lived in the netherlands, which is not to say that the country is devoid of arschlochs.
Haven't done much hunting tbh, I think I'll get a 3/32 17t when I order a chain and some other bits once I got all the other parts together. Good call on not selling the cyfac! Would have been a shame to sell it before you even got to enjoy it and if you need the money at some point you'll probably get more for it if you sell it in germany (prices for track stuff are rather high due to scarcity).
