There is no reason for this. But I had a pair of nice gumwall tyres that needed a bike to sit on.
I was given the frame as a complete.
Everything was fucking shit, but strangely enough it was ride-able. And even more strange was that geometry seemed great. A little slack perhaps, but as forks are very long I decided that it would be worth taking it apart and try out the frame with a different pair of forks.
